An agreement has been signed between Roulunds Rubber A/S and the German company ContiTech AG about the sale of the total shareholding in Roulunds Rubber A/S including its five group companies with effect from 1 January 2006.

ContiTech AG is a division of Continental AG which has a workforce of more than 81,000 employees.
Roulunds Rubber Group is a division of the A.P. Møller - Mærsk Group and has approx. 1,100 employees.

The acquisition is subject to the approval by the antitrust authorities, but is expected to be finalised within the next two months. The parties have agreed not to disclose the sales price.
